The start of a New Year is always a good time to start new daily habits to help you reach your goals. In fact, the things that we do daily are things that make a difference in reaching our goals. So if you have BIG goals, dreams, desires this year, the things you do daily will either ensure your success or detract you from your success.
I’ve highlighted some key faith-based daily habits that can contribute to your success in 2021.
Last week we talked about how our beliefs impact our mindset. Keep in mind that our success is driven by our mindset. In that post, I shared 3 key things you need to believe in to be successful and fulfilled. This week as we talk about mindest, I want to focus on how to have a God-focused mindset as a business owner. Take a look at the video or read the summary below to learn more about putting God at the forefront of your business.
Last week, I was spirit led to talk about The Power of God’s Favor. We discussed the difference between favor and privilege. The discussion gave many a new perspective on the two ideas. Be sure to check it out!
As you know, we are giving focus to mindset this month. It has been found that 80% of our success is attributed to our mindset. Our thoughts are the root of our actions. Therefore, while we explore midset let the focus be on your thinking. Currently, I am reading High Performing Habits by Brendon Burchard. One of the tips he offers is about envisioning the future. He explains how we need to be intentional about who you want to become. We need to have a vision beyond our current circumstances. Take a look at the video or read the summary below to learn how to answer the question of who you are becoming.
The last blog post addressed the age-old question of ‘WHY ME?’ The answer is you were born for it to be you because you were born to do the hard things! It is our mindset that dictates how we navigate situations, obstacles, difficulties, etc. Be sure to review last week’s blog post to learn more on mindset.
This week we will continue to explore mindset. The pandemic and protests inspired by the most recent racial injustices has caused people to have hard and difficult conversations. Joel Osteen has a book titled The Power of Favor and I just finished reading it and was spirit led to address the difference in favor and privilege. Take a look at the video or read the summary below to learn more about the power of God’s favor.
During the month of May, we talked about the Collective Pause of 2020 and what that looked like in your business and personal life. We are living in different times than most of us have ever experienced and it has caused us to pause. Pausing has 3 parts – Rest, Reflect and Reset. Each week we focused on one part of pausing. The first was Rest and we learned 4 ways rest can help your business. In the second week, we talked about reflection and 3 ways to reflect on your marketing. Last week, we focused on how to reset your business during the pandemic. I shared activities to help guide you in both your business and life; be sure to go back to each of last month’s blog posts to prepare you to move forward.
Not only did I share the activities with you, but I also participated in the activities for my business and life as well! As a result of that, I was led to change Marketing Mondays to Mindset Mondays.
The month of May felt a little exhausting for me and many others. There seemed to be an overwhelming feeling from the COVID-19 crisis and to end the month on such a sad note of another racially inspired killing. I’m excited about a new month, a new feeling, and a new beginning in the month of June. Mindset is the first step in anything we do. I want to share different techniques around mindset. Take a look at the video or read the summary below to learn why you were born to do the hard things in life.
At the start of every new year, the tradition is to say, “Happy New Year!!” to celebrate the fact that you made it to another year. Each new year also gives you a chance to set new goals, start new things, make resolutions, etc., but it’s not so traditional to hear, “Happy Mid-Year” at the beginning of the midpoint of the year, but the midpoint of the year is also a great time to celebrate the fact that you made it halfway through the year, it’s a time to look at the goals you set at the beginning of the year, and to adjust your goals and set your intention for the rest of the year.
In this post, I share 3 ways to ensure the REST of the year is the BEST of the year!
