4 Faith-based Success Habits to Start Your Day in 2021

4 Faith-Based Success Habits

The start of a New Year is always a good time to start new daily habits to help you reach your goals.  In fact, the things that we do daily are things that make a difference in reaching our goals.  So if you have BIG goals, dreams, desires this year, the things you do daily will either ensure your success or detract you from your success.

I’ve highlighted some key faith-based daily habits that can contribute to your success in 2021.

1. Daily Devotional

Devoting time in the morning to read God’s word and to hear a message is one of the BEST ways to start your day.  I’m a big fan of morning devotions and for the past 5 years, I have read a Joyce Meyer Devotional most mornings.  And this year is no different, I’m going to be reading The Power of Being Thankful by Joyce Meyer, 365 Devotions for Discovering the Strength of Gratitude.

2. Daily Journaling

There are so many benefits to journaling.  The act of writing something down is powerful and helps you to manifest your desires because it moves from just being a thought to an actual thing.  Journaling can also be very therapeutic because being able to put your thoughts on paper enables you to gather your thoughts, write your thoughts, and read your thoughts, which can be so impactful.  This year I will be using the Believing Bigger Devotional Journal by Marshawn Evans.

3. Daily Prayer

I could not have a list of daily faith-based success habits without including the importance of daily prayer.  Prayer is communication with God and we have the privilege to connect with God anytime and anywhere.  I enjoy connecting with God in the morning right after my daily devotion with prayer.  No matter what time of day you choose to pray the daily connection with God will make all the difference in your day.

4. Daily Planner

Having a planner that maps out my to-dos for the day, week, month and year is a must for me.  I love an old-fashioned paper planner and have used several brands.  This year I’m using one of my favorite planners, the Passion Planner.  This planner helps you to mind map your goals and desires and is like a Paper Life Coach.
