2 Faith-Based Marketing Strategies to Grow Your Business

Last week I shared 3 inner strategies to successfully market and promote your business so you can attract new clients

This week, I have two additional key inner faith-based marketing strategies to add to the list. 

1. Be Spirit-led

Being Spirit-led as a believer is simply hearing from and following the direction of the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit was provided to all believers to help us on this journey called life.   The Holy Spirit teaches and reminds us of God’s Word (John [14:15]-28).

As believers in business we have the gift of the Holy Spirit to guide us not only in our personal life, but also in business!  It’s often something that tends to be overlooked, but I consider it our secret marketplace success strategy.  

In fact, it’s one of the key things I love sharing about because so few people share how the Holy Spirit can guide you in business. 

God has already placed our success strategy inside of us, but we have to take time to be still and hear from him for direction in our business and in the way we should be marketing our businesses.  

Instead of focusing on the strategies that a guru, coach, or expert has shared with you focus on the way that God is leading you, even if it looks different than anything you’ve seen in your industry.  Trust your inner guidance and be led by the Holy Spirit.  Discover 3 Ways to be Spirit-led in Your Business

2. Trust God

Trusting God through your entrepreneurial journey may sound easy, but some times it can be the hardest thing for us to do.  3 Key areas to trust God:

  • God’s Plan-  If God has called you to the marketplace, he already has a plan for your business.  You are just a steward of the business that He has given you, and as a steward you have to trust in His plan for your business.  Sometimes His plan and your plan don’t always match so trusting when things don’t go your way that God’s plan is better than your plan is key. 
  • God’s Path-  God has a specific path that He desires us to take in our business, but He has also given us freedom of choice, so we have to trust and believe in God’s path because God’s path (the specific instructions and directions that we need to take in order to get where He desires for us to go) is always best. 
  • God’s Timing-  This is a BIG one for me, trusting in God’s timing.  God knows when we are ready and when we are not ready, so we have to trust in His timing for our business.
