How to Have a God-focused Mindset in Business

REPOST FROM 6/30/2020

Last week we talked about how our beliefs impact our mindset. Keep in mind that our success is driven by our mindset. In that post, I shared 3 key things you need to believe in to be successful and fulfilled. This week as we talk about mindset, I want to focus on how to have a God-focused mindset as a business owner. Take a look at the video or read the summary below to learn more about putting God at the forefront of your business.

The month of June has gone by super fast for me. I shifted the way we communicate on Mondays by switching our focus on mindset for the month of June. Attitude, disposition or mood is the definition of mindset. We are looking at a fixed mindset and a growth mindset, but I would like to introduce a God mindset.

Your attitude, disposition, and mood will be key to the success of your business. A fixed mindset can be described as things that have to be one way or the other, there is no middle ground. People with a fixed mindset would have thoughts such as talent equals success, people are either smart or dumb, they do no like feedback, they do not like to be challenged. On the other hand, a person with a growth mindset thinks that success comes from effort, thinks one can always grow, that failure means a lesson learned, feedback helps you grow, inspired by others’ success.

Today, I want to talk a little more about the God mindset. Your mindset should be focused on God’s way, word, and will. A person with a God mindset believes all things can be done through God’s strength, nothing is impossible, with God all things are possible and that you just need a little bit of faith to move the biggest difficulties. Business owners can apply this mindset to deal with crises, challenges, and obstacles that arise with just a small amount of faith. A God mindset rests in God’s word, will, and way.

Take a moment to review these scriptures:

  1. Phil [4:13]
  2. Luke [1:37]
  3. Matt [19:26]
  4. Matt [17:20]

These are the scriptures I referenced that will bring your mindset back to a God-focused mindset.

Share your mindset and if you think you can implement a God-focused mindset if you are not consistently doing so in your business now. I would love to chat with you about your business and marketing ideas for your business. Schedule a Marketing Clarity Call at https://go.oncehub.com/meetwithnadine
